AsteriaX Labs

Independent Research & Engineering Collective

Exploring Intelligent Systems. Engineering Practical Solutions.

AsteriaX Labs is an independent collaboration of three researchers working on federated cybersecurity, malware detection, and renewable power for telecommunications, alongside practical engineering projects.

Positioning

Independent research. Practical engineering.

The research is thesis-level academic work, each direction led by one collaborator. It builds on published methods and is careful to say which parts are existing work and which are under study.

The engineering is software built to be used: an AI gateway, a self-hosted media application, and the infrastructure behind our experiments. It is kept separate from the research and described plainly.

Engineering

Tools we build and run.

Engineering work sits beside the research, not inside it. These are working projects, not research claims.

E1AI gateway

ASTER

AI gateway and model-routing tooling.

E2Self-hosted application

Asteria Media

Self-hosted media organization and streaming application.

E3Internal tooling

Research Infrastructure

Computational infrastructure, notebooks, and tooling supporting applied research.

How we work

Plain statements about uncertain work.

  1. 01

    State what is known

Every direction is labelled with its real stage. Ongoing, baseline, and exploratory work are presented as exactly that.

  2. 02

    Credit existing work

Published methods and papers we build on are named as external foundations, never presented as our own.

  3. 03

    Reproduce before extending

A trustworthy baseline comes first. Modifications are measured against it under documented conditions.

  4. 04

Report results only when they exist

No figures, benchmarks, or outcomes are published before the experiments behind them are complete.
